Mark's passions include sharing the Good News of Jesus Christ, mission service (especially in Malawi and Costa Rica), and contemporary worship. He met Lin, his (very patient) wife of 30 years, when they were students at Westminster College. In former careers, Mark was a Branch Manager for Pittsburgh National Bank and Assistant Fire Chief, Paramedic, and Fire Marshal for the Borough of Pleasant Hills. He currently serves on the Board of Directors for GodSend/Dios nos Envia USA and for World Mission Initiative at Pittsburgh Theological Seminary. He is the Convener of the PC(USA) Costa Rica Network. Their son, Michael, is a graduate of Washington & Jefferson College (Honors in History and Phi Beta Kappa - he takes after his mother!) and is currently working on his Masters Degree in History. In his (very limited) spare time, Mark is (slowly) learning to fly, and enjoys 18th century Jacobite and F&I War re-enacting with Lin and Michael. Lin and Mark enjoy making beer at home and are PADI Advanced Open Water certified SCUBA divers.
